Once LP Agent is added, you can ask ChatGPT things like “how are my positions doing?” or “close the ones out of range”, and it answers from your own LP Agent account. ChatGPT lets you add apps that are not in its store through developer mode, a setting you turn on once. You then add LP Agent by its address. It takes a few minutes.

What you need

  • A paid ChatGPT plan: Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu. On Business, Enterprise and Edu, your workspace admin may have to allow it first.
  • An LP Agent account with an agent wallet.

Add LP Agent to ChatGPT

1

Turn on developer mode

In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors. Scroll to Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode. Confirm the message about apps that are not verified.
2

Add LP Agent

Back in Apps & Connectors, press Create. Fill in:
  • Name: LP Agent
  • MCP Server URL: https://mcp.lpagent.io/mcp
  • Authentication: OAuth
Tick the box that you trust this app and press Create.
3

Connect your LP Agent account

ChatGPT opens an LP Agent page. Sign in if it asks, then choose:
  • Read & trade: ChatGPT can also open, close and manage positions and copies for you. Read only: it can only look.
  • How long: 7, 30, 60 or 90 days, or until you disconnect it.
Press Allow. You are back in ChatGPT.
4

Ask ChatGPT

Start a new chat. Press + in the chat box, pick Developer mode and switch LP Agent on, then ask “What’s in my LP Agent account?”.
Press Allow on the LP Agent page only if you just added or connected LP Agent in ChatGPT yourself. If a link to that page reaches you any other way, press Cancel.

Good to know

  • Menus move: ChatGPT changes these settings often. If you can’t find them, search Settings for “Developer mode”.
  • Before it moves money, ChatGPT asks you to confirm the action. Read what it is about to do (pool, amount, range, copy size) before you say yes.
  • Disconnect: in LP Agent, open Settings > Account > Access tokens and press Disconnect next to ChatGPT. You can also delete it in ChatGPT under Apps & Connectors.
