Take profit (TP) and stop loss (SL) close a position for you when its PnL reaches your threshold. They work on both networks and keep watching while you are offline.

Set TP/SL on a position

In your Portfolio, click the Settings badge on an open position (it reads Set TP / Set SL when nothing is set). Tick a box to turn that side on, then press Save Changes. Untick it to turn it off.
The currency matters. A SOL/USDC position can be up in USD and down in SOL at the same time. Pick the currency you actually count your gains in.
TP and SL work on positions in your agent wallet. A position sitting in your sign-in wallet can’t use them.

Give every new position TP/SL: Auto TP/SL

Go to Settings > General > Auto TP/SL.
  • Off by default. When it is off, you set TP/SL on each position yourself.
  • When it is on, every new position gets the defaults below:
    • Currency (SOL/ETH or USD)
    • Take Profit: 10% by default
    • Stop Loss: 10% by default
  • It does not change positions you already have.
Copied positions don’t use Auto TP/SL. They take the TP/SL from the copied wallet’s Exit rules. Whichever comes first closes the copy: your TP/SL, or the leader’s own exit.

What happens when it triggers

  1. LP Agent closes the position from your agent wallet and swaps it back (SOL on Solana; the currency you opened with on Robinhood Chain).
  2. The position moves to Historical positions with its final PnL.
  3. If you turned on notifications, you get a Take profit hit or Stop loss hit push with the result. See Notifications.
  4. The position’s Logs show each step, such as take profit queued and close success.
A TP or SL close counts as an automated action: LP Agent takes 8% of the LP fees collected. See Fees.
A stop loss limits losses but can’t guarantee a price. In a fast market the close lands at whatever the price is when the transaction goes through, and each close pays swap and network costs. A very tight stop on a small position can cost more than it saves.
